A Study-day for paraprofessional mothers on counseling

The Trust of programs for early childhood and community Education in Jerusalem organized a national study-day in Bedayat centre at Al-Qasimi College in Western-Baqa.
Forty paraprofessional mothers from Jerusalem, Shufat refugee camp, Lod, Ramla, Rahat and Acre, participated in this Study-day which aimed at enriching mothers with knowledge and skills in the field of childhood from birth to three years.
The Study-day started with a welcoming word to the mothers presented by Ms. Areej Masarwah the director of Bidayat centre, and Mr. Sharif Masarwah a member of the Trust’s board who later discussed perfectionism in the work of the association.
Dr. Roseland Daem, the program director in the Northern area for the Mother-to-Mother program, gave a lecture on the means of counseling. Following the lecture, the mothers were divided into four groups that were supervised by the program coordinators : Inas Alayan, Alaa Madee, Sahar Isawee, Shafica Jahshan, and Maryam Shihadeh. This Study-day was prepared by the Trust’s national coordinator Mrs. Maha Taamreh.
